Publication guidance leaflet for Oxford BRC funded authors now available
All peer-reviewed publications by Oxford BRC-supported or Oxford BRC-affiliated investigators that report clinical/translational work directly or indirectly supported by Oxford BRC need to include clear acknowledgement by including the following standard text:
“This work was supported by / was funded by the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre, Oxford” or “The research was supported by / was funded by the National Institute for Health Research(NIHR) Oxford Biomedical Research Centre”
in an Acknowledgements paragraph or within the funding attributions section of the article.
This is a contractual obligation of the award made by the NIHR to support the Oxford BRC partnership and applies to where Oxford BRC contributed to primary support, and also to any instance of infrastructure, support staffing or research governance support from Oxford BRC to a project funded from another source. Authors can also use or append the following phrase after the acknowledgement or funding attribution: The views expressed are those of the author(s) and not necessarily those of the NHS, the NIHR or the Department of Health.
Please contact Liz Callow email@example.com for a guidance leaflet relevant to all authors or if you have any questions.
