As part of our Experts in Residence scheme Patrick Hall from the company Maddison will be giving an introductory seminar on healthcare product design: from usability to managing technical risk. This seminar will serve as a taster for the Design Thinking workshop that he will run in May. The one day workshop, designed for 12-15 participants, will start by focusing on creativity: theory and methods of brainstorming. The second half looks in more depth at issues in product design: Managing technical risk; usability and user research; issues in managing high-tech projects. Patrick is also available for 1:1 discussions through appointment. Please get in touch with martin.kerr@medsci.ox.ac.uk for further details.
