The works to improve the crossing for pedestrians at the London Road/Osler Road junction are on schedule to finish 11 May and work on Headley way will begin on Monday 14 May.

NIGHT CLOSURE OF LONDON ROAD/OSLER ROAD JUNCTION

The junction of London Road and Osler Road will be closed for three nights, 9, 10 and 11 May from 8:00pm to 6:00am. There will be no access in or out of the JR via Osler Road/London Road during these hours. Therefore, if you need access to the Ivy Lane flats, Osler Lodge or the gravel car park, please follow the diversions which will take you through Old Headington to and from the Ring Road; or via Saxon Way to and from the Marston shops/Marsh Lane.

HEADLEY WORK STARTS 14 MAY

The Access to Headington work on Headley Way will start on Monday 14 May. The plan remains for 3 weeks of temporary lights at the Marsh Lane junction to remove the two mini roundabouts, and 2 weeks of temporary traffic lights for work on the JR entrance. Thereafter, most of the work can be done on narrow lanes between Headley Way and London Road. This phase of the project will end in March 2019.
