Presentation skills training available elsewhere in the University

MSD Skills is in the process of commissioning an online version of the Presentation skills course, but no training is available at the current time. However, you might find the following courses helpful:

ITLC runs the following live courses:

  • 'Presentations: Presentation Design' that focuses on creating effective presentation slides in PowerPoint and other presentation tools.
  • 'Presentations: Improving Your Online Talks' that focuses on effective delivery of remote presentations.
  • 'Posters: Improving Your Research Posters' that focuses on ideas and techniques for designing and improving research posters.

POD provide access via SSO to a LinkedIn Learning course that gives a general overview of all aspects of preparing and delivering effective presentations. Further details can be found on this link.
