We will notify all applicants of the outcome of their application, whether or not they are needed for interview. Notification to unsuccessful applicants will usually come in the form of a letter (or an e-mail, for overseas candidates) from the Medical School. For candidates who are invited to interview, the invitation will come from the college of first preference; in practice, the Medical School is usually in a position to give an early warning to most interview candidates, and will send an e-mail as soon as the recommendations have been sent to the colleges.

Candidates who have received the e-mail warning them that they will be needed for interview should hear details from their colleges by the Friday preceding the interview week.
