Graduate Entry Medicine: How will I know if I am needed for interview?
We will notify all applicants of the outcome of their application, whether or not they are needed for interview. Notification to unsuccessful applicants will usually come in the form of a letter (or an e-mail, for overseas candidates) from the Medical School. For candidates who are invited to interview, the invitation will come from the college of first preference; in practice, the Medical School is usually in a position to give an early warning to most interview candidates, and will send an e-mail as soon as the recommendations have been sent to the colleges.
Candidates who have received the e-mail warning them that they will be needed for interview should hear details from their colleges by the Friday preceding the interview week. Candidates who have not heard from their colleges by that date should contact their college directly; or, for candidates who made an open application, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
