- Head of the Computational Biology Research Group
My group provides computing support for bioinformatics analysis at the University of Oxford. We have expertise in many aspects of bioinformatics and especially encourage collaborations that require writing custom software, bioinformatics tools and databases.
As part of my research, I am interested in improving human computer interaction and software interfaces in the biosciences. Currently I am investigating the use of Virtual Reality in scientific analysis, visualisation and interaction.
I am also a co-founder and CSO of Zegami (https://zegami.com) an image analysis and visualisation platform, which is an Oxford spin-out company.
