Linda Troeberg

University Research Lecturer

Extracellular matrix biochemist

I trained as a protein biochemist and have a long-term interest in understanding regulation of tissue turnover in healthy and pathological conditions.

After post-doctoral posts with Professor Richard Perham (University of Cambridge) and Professor Hideaki Nagase (Imperial College London, later University of Oxford), I was awarded an Arthritis Research UK Career Development Fellowship to study molecular mechanisms regulating the metalloproteinase inhibitor TIMP-3 in osteoarthritic cartilage.
