Cancer and blood vessels interaction, the biology of non-angiogenic tumours
The CRUK Tumour Pathology Group is an integral part of the CRUK Oxford Cancer Centre directed by Professor Adrian Harris. It exists to provide academic pathology support to the other constituent groups within that centre and to perform independent research. Currently the major topic of the group concerns tumour angiogenesis, hypoxia and cell cycle. Each member of the group has specific projects that are reviewed at the weekly unit meetings and include the production of monoclonal antibodies, immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridisation and the use of DNA and tissue microarrays.
