BMSAT Sample Questions

This is a short practice test designed to give you a sense of the look and feel of the live test. It contains only 20 multiple choice questions – the live test will contain 80 items.

There are four sections: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics – each has 5 questions. You should aim to complete these items in about 23 minutes – the live test will be 90 minutes long.

You should attempt as many questions as you can, speed as well as accuracy is important.

There will be no penalties for incorrect responses, only marks for correct answers, so you should attempt all questions. Each question will be worth one mark (20 marks in total).

The use of calculators will not be permitted in the live test.
