TRIG and NDS have launched the Andrew Bushell Travel Bursary Fund in memory of an outstanding senior researcher and lecturer.

Dr Andrew Bushell, who sadly passed away in December 2016, was an integral part of the Wood Lab and later the Transplantation Research Immunology Group (TRIG) in the Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences. He made many contributions to the field of transplantation and to the Wood Lab/TRIG over the 33 years that he was in the group and is fondly remembered by his friends and colleagues.

To celebrate Andrew's career and his contributions to the success of the Wood Lab/TRIG, the Andrew Bushell Travel Bursary Fund, in collaboration with his widow Ginny and his colleagues, has been set up to help provide travel bursaries for graduate students and early career researchers to attend meetings.
