The Botnar Research Institute appoints new Director

The Nuffield Department of Orthopaedic, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences (NDORMS) is delighted to announce that Professor Jonathan Rees has been appointed as the new Director of the Botnar Research Institute

Professor Rees will take up the role in August 2021 from Professor Andrew Carr, also the Head of Department at NDORMS, who said: “Prof Jonny Rees is an outstanding clinician scientist with a strong track record in research that has positively influenced the care of patients with musculoskeletal disorders. His vision and energy will be of enormous value as the new Marcela wing of the Botnar opens and we expand our research and teaching programmes.”
