\n \n\n \n \n \nToday eight Oxford University academics have been awarded significant financial funding from the UKRI \u2018Future Leaders Fellowships scheme\u2019 that was created to help develop the next wave of world-class research and innovation leaders in academia and business.\r\n\r\nScience Minister Amanda Solloway announced nearly 100 new Fellows, who will share in \u00a3113 million funding, with individual researchers receiving up to \u00a31.5 million.

\n \n\n \n \n \nUKRI have announced a major \u00a324 million investment into improving the mental health and wellbeing of adolescents in the UK. One of the projects being funded is led by Professor Kam Bhui in the Department of Psychiatry, it will bring together diverse creative-arts, digital and health experts to investigate how adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) can affect adolescents' mental health.
