Nowadays, however, when most of us don’t face dangerous predators on a daily basis, stress can feel like more of a hindrance than a help. In this video, Charlotte Collingwood from MRC Brain Network Dynamics Unit explains the different stages of stress, why it ‘turns bad’, and how we can help to overcome its negative effects.
