Post-doctoral researcher Julie Hussin, from the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics, comments in The Conversation about a new study published in Science which shows natural adaptation has led to genetic mutations in Greenlandic Inuits that help them counteract the bad effects of their high-fat diet, based heavily on fish and marine mammals.
