Five researchers in the Department of Psychiatry are in the top one percent of the Highly Cited Researchers 2019 list.

Psychiatry most highly cited researchers

The 2019 list of Highly Cited Researchers, which recognises the world's most influential researchers of the past decade, demonstrated by the production of multiple highly-cited papers that rank in the top 1% by citations for field and year in Web of Science, is now published.

Those recognised and leading world-class research and teaching, helping to translate advances in science into better mental health for all, at the Department of Psychiatry include:

John Geddes - Professor of Epidemiological Psychiatry and Head of Department

Guy Goodwin - Senior Research Fellow

Willem Kuyken - Sir John Ritblat Family Foundation Professor of Mindfulness and Psychological Science

Seena Fazel - Wellcome Trust Senior Research Fellow

Mark Woolrich - Professor of Computational Neuroscience
