This shows you how to schedule a video call in Teams. You can invite both internal and external participants to a meeting.

Go to the Teams app and select the Calendar icon.

Click the New meeting button to set up your meeting.

Enter your meeting details and click Send.

Your recipients will receive an invite / email with a link to the meeting. Meeting participants don't need the Teams App to join the meeting - they will be given the option to join the meeting on the web (they should use Chrome or Edge). However, for the best user experience participants can download the free Teams App.

Meeting participants with a Nexus365 account will be able to join the meeting directly.

By default, external participants will be placed in the Lobby waiting area when they join. You will need to give them access to the meeting before they can join the meeting. You can change the meeting settings to allow external participants to by pass the lobby.
