This guide shows you how to add headings and sub-headings to the main content area of a Haiku webpage.

A web page, especially a long page, without headings and sub-headings is difficult to scan and for people using assistive technology, such as screen readers, to use.

The following steps show you how to create headings in the main content area of your page.

Click Edit on the toolbar at the top of the page.

To create a heading:  

  1. Highlight the text for your heading. 
  2. Click the style dropdown list in the rich text editor. 
  3. Select the heading type. To maintain the correct hierarchical structure of the page you must select Heading – Main before Heading -Sub.

Note: Do not try to format headings in any other way.
