There are some standard Haiku image proportions. Here's how to check that your image will work.

Standard Haiku Proportions

If you add an image to a page via the media tab or add an image to a carousel slideshow, then it will be cropped to some standard Haiku proportions:

Proportions Width Height
Square 1150 1150
16x9 1150
16x5 1150 360

Use an image editor or an online tool to check that your image works at these proportions (look for Aspect Ratio)

Often an image will be more interesting if you can crop it down to focus on one particular area.

  • Do this before you upload the image to the website.
  • This will only work, though, if the cropped image is still in the 1150 pixels wide or more, so keep an eye on things as you crop.
