Academic Industry Day (AIMday)
An Academia Industry Day (AIMday) is an innovative academic-industry networking event devised and developed by the University of Uppsala. Each event has a highly focused and efficient meeting format which has proven successful in finding useful contacts, collaborations, and new paths to solutions to organizations’ questions. Companies can participate by submitting questions for academics to answer, while academics can participate by signing up to answer questions.

networking for industry fellows
The Business Partnerships Office manages a number of Fellowship schemes with industry partners and regularly organises events for Fellows to network with each other, develop links with industry, and gain new skills. Most recently the team organised an interactive workshop - delivered by Dr Nick Clarke, Head of UK Academic Partnerships at Pfizer - which involved a simulation of the entire process involved in drug discovery and development.
INDUSTRY INSIGHTS SEMINAR SERIES
Hosted by the Business Partnerships Office and sponsored by the BioEscalator the Industry Insights Seminar Series. Select industry speakers will provide seminars scientific in nature across a range of medical or health topics, which will be followed by lunch and a networking opportunity.
