It has been announced that the Charity Open Access Fund will end on 30 September 2020, at the close of the current block grant year. For the past six years it has operated on the basis of all partners sharing a common open access policy, but this will no longer be the case from January 2021 when Wellcome implements its Plan S-aligned OA policy.
