March 2019 - Capping beam complete, excavation starts

  • Capping beam is now complete
  • Excavation to the basement is under way. Expect 80 - 90 wagons on site each day, removing dirt from the area. Take care and please used pedestrian routes
  • There will be less noisy work in the short term, and Science Area users will be informed if this changes
  • A temporary structure is to be built on edge of University Parks to house essential welfare facilities. Read more
