Information about the organisation of SharePoint site collections in the MSD and who to contact for support.

  • Each Department/Unit Collection in the MSD should have a co-ordinator who is responsible for allocating sites and liaising with site managers.
  • The MSD Web Team can provide advice to the Site co-ordinator and can also be available for emergencies.
  • Requests for sites in a department collection should be directed to the site co-ordinator in the first instance who will then help and advise on the setup.
  • Support should in the first instance be provided by the site co-ordinator - the MSD Web Team will in turn aim to help the site co-ordinator with basic questions. However, more expert help should be available at and on the Sharepoint help pages.
