The Haiku Oversight committee meets four times a year, reviews the progress of Haiku Evolution and monitors performance of the consultancy providing Haiku. Its members comprise communications officers, researchers and department administrators.

The main responsibilities of the Committee are:

  • Oversight of the Haiku Project in the Medical Sciences Division
  • Explaining and communicating the shape, strategy and direction of the Project
  • Monitoring the service provided by Fry-IT
  • Monitoring the work of the Haiku Development Group
  • Providing an escalation route for the resolution of issues which arise in member departments, the Haiku Development Group or in the Communications and Web team
  • Providing a forum for policies relating to Haiku and its development to be formulated
  • Providing a point of contact for Fry-IT when there are cross-departmental issues
