Alumni Relations Manager
As the Alumni Engagement Manager for Oxford Medical Alumni (OMA), I am responsible for fostering a positive mutual relationship between the University and its global community of medical alumni. OMA does this through an annual programme of reunions and events that sees doctors returning to Oxford ten to fifty years after they qualified. We also organise the annual BMBCh graduation reception to celebrate the achievements of our newest doctors. The annual Osler Lecture, held as part of the University’s ‘Meeting Minds’ Alumni Weekend, is another opportunity for alumni to meet up, and is followed by a drinks reception. Tingewick is an important part of Medical School life and we keep a small archive of Tingewick memorabilia and co-ordinate occasional Tingewick reunions, such as the 80th anniversary event in 2019.
The bi-annual Oxford Medicine newsletter is sent to over 2000 alumni and features the latest news from the Oxford University medical community.
Oxford Medical Alumni is overseen by an Advisory Board and the current President is Dr Lyn Williamson.
If you are an alum and would like to contact me with any ideas, comments or suggestions about alumni activities, I would love to hear from you! email@example.com
