Researcher Development & Training Officer
Working alongside the Divisional Director for Skills Training and the Divisional Skills Training Coordinator, I help to develop and deliver the Medical Sciences Division Skills Training Programme. This provides transferable and scientific training for all research students and research staff in the MSD, to enhance their communication, research and teaching skills and further their career development.
I work with the MSD Skills Training Committee to ensure that training needs and the programme’s strategic aims are being met. I also collaborate with the other University academic divisions and training providers to run cross-divisional courses and events that are relevant and accessible to MSD’s research students and research staff.
I previously worked at the University as Project Officer for the Oxford Healthcare Values Partnership, based in the Knowledge Exchange and Impact Team office of Research Services. Prior to this, my career has spanned project management, editorial expertise and administrative support at various UK universities and publishing companies. I have a BA (Hons) in Humanities and an MRes in Humanities and Cultural Studies.
