Laurent Dupays

Translational Research Manager

I joined the Translational Research Office in October 2021 as Translational Research Manager to support researchers across the Medical Science Division to progress their projects towards the clinic.

I have previously worked as Therapeutic Innovation Networks coordinator at UCL where I built and developed therapeutic communities, to share translational knowledge amongst academics, clinicians and industry partners and to enhance collaborative opportunities.

Prior to this, I worked as an investigator scientist for the MRC and at the Francis Crick Institute. My research focused on the molecular mechanisms regulating the development and physiology of the cardiovascular system. I gained expertise in genomics, mouse genetics and stem cell differentiation.

I have a PhD in Molecular Biology and I am a PRINCE2 qualified project manager.
