Richard Liwicki, Deputy Director of Research Services, retired at the end of May after more than twenty years services to the University. He has played a fundamental role in the success of the Medical Sciences Division over the last two and a half decades of sustained growth. His creativity, integrity, and patience and will be greatly missed by many of us. I hope you will join me in wishing him the very best in his retirement.
