Have you got a research interest in social prescribing and/or mild cognitive impairment (MCI)?
If so, you may wish to attend a sandpit event being held in February to develop research ideas that combine these two topics. GLAM has been awarded a small pot of funding from the MARCH network to develop research ideas about social prescribing and mild cognitive impairment and are seeking to get a range of researchers together, along with people affected by MCI and those who care for them. We have invited people affected by MCI, professionals involved in their care, and providers of social prescribing services to attend and are seeking applications from researchers who wish to join us on Monday 24 February 2020, 10.30am - 3.30pm at St Luke's Chapel, Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, Oxford, OX2 6HT.
There is space for up to 8 researchers to attend this free event. We are asking those wishing to attend to send a one page letter describing why they wish to come along. Application letters should be emailed to Stephanie Tierney by 15 December 2019. Successful applicants will be informed at the start of January 2020.
Further details about this event are available here.
