The Research Data Oxford team are pleased to announce the release of a new version of our research data management induction resources:

Good research data management is increasingly being recognized as a vital part of good research practice. It’s generally easiest if planned for from the beginning, but in the busyness of academic life, it’s also easy to overlook. These resources are therefore designed to flag up some key points.

The resources include two short PowerPoint presentations (one of two slides, and another that’s just a single slide), plus a printable fact-sheet. They’re suitable for use at induction sessions and similar events for new researchers (including postgraduate research students).

Members of the Research Data Oxford team are available to come and present at induction sessions, and to run customized training events for research groups or departments. Please email us on if you’d like to discuss this further.
