IT Services has launched the annual OxTALENT competition to celebrate and reward the innovative use of digital technologies to enhance teaching, learning, research, and outreach at the University of Oxford. We invite entries from members of the University – both staff and students – in the following categories:

•           Innovative teaching & learning with technology

•           Outreach & widening participation

•           Public engagement

•           Digital media

•           Data visualisation

•           Research posters

The competition is open to all students and staff, and awards can be given to individuals or to groups. You can submit an entry yourself or nominate a colleague who has impressed you with their use of technology.

The Medical Sciences Division has featured prominently at the OxTALENT awards ceremony for a number of years, with five awards in 2015 and four in 2016. The competition committee looks forward to receiving more high quality entries on medical matters this year.

For further information and guidelines on how to enter, please visit the OxTALENT website: .

The closing date for entries is Friday 28th April. In the meantime, you can keep up to date on Twitter by following the hashtag #oxtalent2017.
