Did you know that your open access choices not only affect the visibility of your research but also whether your outputs are eligible for the next REF?
The new REF requirement launched on 1 April 2016. All academics and researchers need to act on acceptance to make their outputs REF eligible. Articles and conference papers must beplaced in an online repository within 3 months of acceptance for publication.
Over 1,000 of our researchers have taken advantage of the University’s free service to make their outputs open access and eligible for the next REF since 1 April 2016.
So while you’re celebrating your next article being accepted for publication, make sure you deposit your work in the Oxford Research Archive repository. This free service for University of Oxford researchers allows you to quickly and easily deposit your work via Symplectic Elements.
You deposit, we’ll take care of the rest.
