The £1.5 billion fund, announced by the UK government last year, will support cutting-edge research to address the challenges faced by developing countries and will make up about 10% of UK research funding by the end of the decade. With the first calls for the GCRF already being announced, the University is organising a GCRF health theme workshop to share ideas and identify strengths so that future funding opportunities can be optimised. All are welcome to attend.
