Win up to £50k for research using cohort data

Dementias Platform UK announces its Discovery Awards – funding available to any medical researcher interested in working with cohort data.

DPUK is bringing together data from over 40 cohort studies, creating an online resource of unprecedented detail and scale. With records currently uploaded for 572k participants from 11 cohorts, researchers across the world are now able to access highly-characterised participant data securely and remotely, at no cost.

Any researcher, regardless of particular scientific background, is encouraged to apply for an award. Webinars offering training on the Data Portal take place on 30 January and 8 February, and DPUK’s free annual scientific conference on 23 April will enable researchers to gain an in-depth understanding of all the free resources available through DPUK, with a particular focus on the Data Portal.
