We are improving the facilities at the Cairns Library over November.

In the weeks of 13th and 20th November (exact dates TBC) there will be work going on at the Cairns to increase the number of electrical plug sockets available for library users.  The library will remain open during this period but unfortunately there will be work, such as drilling and cabling, going on at different times in different parts of the library.

We’re very sorry for the inconvenience and noise that this will cause - we had hoped to undertake the works over the summer but we were unable to for reasons beyond our control.  We will do our best to keep noise and other disruptions to to a minimum.

During these two weeks please pop by the Cairns Help Desk to see if any quieter study rooms are available (for example the Beeson Room and our Group Study Room will be available for quiet study when possible) , or to pick up a pair of earplugs or headphones.
