Information about the student conferences and symposiums in departments, which are open to all MRC-funded students, can be found below.

Department of computer science

An annual student conference takes place in Trinity Term to give students an opportunity to gain experience in presenting talks and posters. For further information contact: Julie Sheppard

In 4th Week of Michaelmas Term there is a Poster Day which is mandatory for second year DPhil students.

The Sherrington Talks in 7th Week of Trinity Term are mandatory for third year DPhil students. Here, the students present their work to peers and colleagues. Information about past Sherrington Talks can be found here.

The MRC DTP Steering Group organises an annual student symposium to give MRC-funded students an opportunity to present their work, network with peers and attend informative workshops.
