The Oxford University Clinical Academic Graduate School provides extensive support and information for clinicians interested in pursuing academic/research careers.

Oxford provides a number of short and part-time graduate-level courses and programmes designed specifically for training clinicians in particular areas. These are listed under the appropriate Research Subject Areas.

Research Training Fellowships

These are designed to fund clinicians undertaking research towards a DPhil. They are generally for 3 years, pay a salary appropriate to your career stage, and usually include funding for research expenses. Some are applied for and awarded in Oxford, whereas others are awarded in external national competitions
