Revised new Wellcome Trust OA policy, 1 January 2021

Wellcome-funded researchers, articles submitted for publication from 1 January 2021 need to meet new open access requirements. You need to check that your preferred journal enables you to comply before submission. There is a Journal Checker Tool available to help. The new policy applies to all articles reporting original research that has been supported in whole, or in part, by Wellcome funding.

Wellcome have published guidance on how to comply.  For Oxford guidance and FAQs, see:  http://openaccess.ox.ac.uk/wellcome-and-coaf/.

Further ‘new Wellcome Trust OA policy’ iSkills sessions will be run on an ‘on demand’ basis.  Please email Bodleian User Education to put your name down.
