HOW IT WILL WORK

Once you have booked onto the scheduled live interactive session, you will be sent an email enrolment invitation to Canvas. You need to accept the invitation and work your way through all of the PLTO materials in Canvas well in advance of the live session.

Booking confirmation and reminder emails will provide the session link and joining instructions for the live scheduled session. You can click on the session link up to 15 minutes before the session is due to start. Once the tutors have started the session, they will tell you what to do.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

A good internet connection, uninterrupted time, camera and microphone enabled on PC.

THIS COURSE HAS PRE-WORK

Once you have booked on the course, you will be sent an enrolment invitation email from Canvas. Accepting this link gives you access to the pre-work (pre-recorded lectures, exercises and other materials) you will need to work through to participate in the live session. Please note that as Canvas is a separate platform to the booking system, you may need to check your junk folder if you haven't received the Canvas enrolment invitation email.

ATTENDANCE CERTIFICATE ON SURVEY COMPLETION

It is now a requirement that you complete the three short feedback questions sent to you once you have completed the course. This is to enable us to get the feedback we need to evaluate and improve our courses. On submitting the completed survey you will then receive an email with a link to download your attendance certificate. All survey results are downloaded and stored anonymously.

PLEASE NOTE

Where no cost is given in the shopping basket, no deposit is required. However, more than two instances of non-attendance or late cancellation (less than 72 hours before the course is due to start) without prior notice of mitigating circumstances will be logged and may mean you will not be able to attend any further MSD Skills training courses in the term.
