Ben Lacey is Associate Professor of Medicine and Epidemiology at UK Biobank, Nuffield Department of Population Health, University of Oxford. His research interests are in population health metrics, health inequalities, and the enhancement of large-scale observational epidemiology, focusing particularly on cohort studies. He studied Medicine at the University of Edinburgh, and received a master’s degree in Global Health Science and a doctorate in Epidemiology from the University of Oxford. He is also a Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health of the Royal Colleges of Physicians, Honorary Consultant Physician in Public Health at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust, and Associate Fellow of Green Templeton College, Oxford.
