Simon Lovestone is Professor of Translational Neuroscience at the University of Oxford Department of Psychiatry, and has dedicated his working life to understanding and treating Alzheimer's Disease.
He will be doing various 'special' cycles beyond his normal commute as part of the 'Cycling Down Dementia' challenge over the next three months, with plans for: a trip of the laboratory scientists to a care home to meet residents and carers; a group ‘lab on the run’ ride, and then a brain-shaped ride around Oxford.
