Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell Workshop

The workshop will bring together researchers across Oxford who are either already generating iPS cells or considering generating iPS cells to model disease, in order to share experience and best practice.

It will include coverage of the following topics:
What research questions can be most effectively addressed by using iPSc technology;
Study design;
Ethics/Patient consent for iPSc generation;
Reprogramming techniques;
Characterisation of iPSc lines;
Differentiation to key lineages and assays.
Buffet lunch/refreshments will be provided.

If you would like to take part in this workshop, either to learn about generating and using iPSc, or to share your experience/expertise, then please contact Sally Cowley sally.cowley@path.ox.ac.uk. More details will be available nearer the time through the Oxford Stem Cell Institute website http://www.stemcells.ox.ac.uk
