These taught masters courses are designed with two types of graduates in mind, both medical and non-medical. It is envisaged that non-medically qualified students will be physical science graduates, with an interest in the technology used in the management and diagnosis of disease in a modern healthcare setting, while medical graduates will gain a greater understanding of the role of these modalities in the management of disease conditions.

• Diagnostic Imaging- covers basic radiological science, including computed tomography, nuclear medicine, magnetic resonance imaging, and ultrasound.
• Endovascular Neurosurgery (Interventional Neuroradiology) - is concerned with interventional neuro-radiological techniques, as such it requires GMC registration.
