Professor Terence Stephenson
Professor Terence Stephenson is Professor of Child Health and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Nottingham and Vice-President for Research and Science, Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. he is also Consultant Paediatrician and Non-Executive Director, Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust
Professor Stephenson graduated through the Oxford Medical School in 1983. He has have given evidence in court on child protection cases on over 50 occasions. He has co-authored 8 textbooks, written 45 invited chapters or editorials and published 123 peer reviewed papers. He previously was Secretary and Treasurer of the UK Neonatal and Paediatric Research Societies, respectively; Secretary of the UK's Association of Clinical Professors of Paediatrics; advisor in paediatrics to the National Patient Safety Agency.
