MSc Clinical Embryology
Programme Director: Dr Kevin Coward
This is a one year, full time programme of study involving two terms of coursework and one term on a research project.
Fundamental reproductive science and laboratory methods/practical skills are taught in the first term over five discrete modules. Applied and clinical aspects are delivered in the second term over a further set of five modules. Each module is delivered over a period of one to three weeks and together, the ten modules comprise the ‘core content’ of the programme. The third term is extended to allow sufficient time for a high quality laboratory research project.
This programme is hosted by the Nuffield Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Up to 20 students are accepted each year.
Funding may be available for the highest ranked applicants but most accepted students will be required to secure their own funding.
