DPhil Systems Approaches IDC

Duration: 4 years

This programme is for graduates from the physical or life sciences wishing to prepare for a research career in industry or at the academia/industry interface.

Your first year will involve course work and rotations through two laboratories. After this you will select your project and supervisor(s) for the remainder of the programme. All projects involve an academic partner and an industrial partner.

In your first year you will be based in the Industrial Doctorate Centre and the Department(s) in which your laboratory research projects are based. Your subsequent three years will be based at the University Department and/or Industrial partner of your chosen supervisor(s).
