DPhil Cardiovascular Science (BHF)

Duration: 4 years

This programme is funded by the British Heart Foundation and offers an excellent stipend and generous funding for research expenses.  It is aimed at basic science graduates who want to undertake advanced research relevant to cardiovascular science.

Your first year will involve course work and rotation through two laboratories. After this you will select your project and supervisor for the remaining 3 years of the programme.

Up to 5 places per year are available.  Accepted students are typically fully funded although some overseas students may have to find additional funding to cover the higher overseas fee.
